Glasses and Eye Tests
Eye exams are covered once every 2 years for adults (covered for kids and seniors under OHIP).
Glasses are covered if you are on ODSP. You can get new glasses every 3 years and you can get replacement lenses if there is a significant change.
There is full coverage for loss or damage for kids. For adults, there is only no-fault coverage for loss or damage.
This does not apply to dependent adults or spouses who are not on ODSP but they can apply for glasses as a discretionary benefit through Ontario Works.
