Discretionary Benefits
Discretionary benefits are benefits that it is up to the worker if you get. In some municipalities, they do not give any or very few discretionary benefits. In other places, they are more generous.
You do not have a legal right to appeal discretionary benefits.
That doesn't mean you can't fight these decisions. Direct action gets the goods.
